Recent Developments
March 1, 2007 – EXT completes design and synthesis of Catalase-SKL®
compounds which will now be used in collaborative in vitro, ex vivo, and
clinical studies.
February 1, 2007 – Design and cloning process completed in preparation
for dermal applications testing.
August 1, 2006 – EXT opens laboratories at TechTown, to bolster its
in-house research capabilities.
June 7, 2005
– EXT announces the start of preliminary animal testing of Catalase-SKL
compounds. Experiments will be conducted at the Van Andel Research Institute in
Grand Rapids, MI, under contract to EXT. Various Catalase-SKL compounds will be
evaluated for their delivery capability, bio-distribution and, most importantly,
impact on aging and other critical physiological functions.
October 14, 2004 --
EXT secures exclusive worldwide rights to Catalase-SKL technologies and patents
from Wayne State University and the University of Western Ontario. The company
will now continue the research and development process, which includes the
production of Catalase-SKL compounds, to be used in subsequent animal tests.
